Director of New BusinessLawyer from UFRGS and with 25 years of experience in the corporate area, Lourenço led the teams and legal strategy of turnaround and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects for companies such as SevenBoys, Estaleiro Ecovix and Grupo Artecola.
Specialist in Tax Law (IBET), contracts (Unisinos) and business management (FGV), he participated in sales such as those from Lojas Renner to JC Penney, Grupo Maxxel to Sonepar, among several other disposal operations and structured financing of large national players.
In the companies where he worked as head of the legal area, he also promoted 360º restructuring of the sector, improving hiring processes, digitizing databases and service flows for the internal public and commercial partners, and implementing best compliance and market practices, always in a coordinated with the organization’s strategic objectives.
He has extensive experience and expertise in international negotiations and in the strategic legal aspects of equity transactions, whether in the corporate, tax, regulatory, contractual and land areas, with a focus on eliminating non-conformities and risks capable of affecting shareholders’ liquidity and valuation.
