A great mentor taught me three things about the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) market: Doing something small is just as much arduous as doing something big; a transaction is never as simple as it may seem; every agreement is canceled two or three times before it is closed. Then comes Covid-19 bringing even more uncertainty. And not even medical experts can estimate when the situation will finally be under control.
